2019 SZTU High Table Dinner for Freshmen has been highly anticipated and was held on September 24th. Prof. Holger Haldenwang, Dean of Business School, Prof. Gordana Kierans, Prof. Nebojša Radojević,Dr. Ding Zhuoqi and Miss Tang Fanli as invited guests, witnessed the adult ceremony of SZTU students. Meanwhile, seven representatives of the freshmen from Business School attended the dinner party.
【Guest speakers 】
Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, President of SZTU, addressed at the welcome dinner. He encouraged the freshmen to actively explore and think in university classes, and to cultivate an international vision as soon as possible.
Prof. Robert Grebner, President of Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Science, hopes that the two sides will make joint efforts in the future to help students promote a new international vision.
Professor Dirk Jacob, Vice President of the Kempten University of Applied Science, expressed his approval of SZTU. He said : “Students can obtain practical knowledge from professors who have worked in multinational companies in Applied Science universities, It is very beneficial for their future work.”
【Performing Guests】
Yang Peilin,2018 student from College of Big Data and Internet, and Zhuang Yi, 2018 student from Sino-German College of Intelligent Manufacturing, performed a saxophone/piano ensemble called “Beauty and the Beast”, which is so melodious.
Additionally, they also performed a flute and piano ensemble “Jasmine” which sounds transparent, taking you into a state of grace.
The dinner ceremony culminated with a song “Me and My Motherland”,given by Prof. Zhi Hui,a young soprano singer from SZTU. All the teachers and students raised their glasses to wish the motherland a happy 70th birthday!
