On the evening of November 24th, Jack WOO, Associate Professor and two postdoctoral researchers from Pakistan visited Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Talent Sub-district. Through the "Set Sail" conversation - International Talent Salon activity, an in-depth exchange on the role that international talents can play in the construction of Pingshan District was conducted. Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Talent Sub-district provides a platform for building international talent exchanges and creating an atmosphere of "respecting, caring, respecting and promoting talents". Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Talent Sub-district is in the industry-university-research base of Pingshan High-tech Zone, carrying the role of high-quality channels and important platforms in the future in the deep integration of industry, education and research, and providing strong support for the development and growth of international talents.
Jack WOO, Associate Professor, believes that international talents in innovation and entrepreneurship attach great importance to intellectual property protection, and hope to have a detailed understanding with relevant departments and strengthen win-win cooperation. At the same time, students can also strengthen the docking and communication with Shenzhen enterprises through this platform, and fully integrate theory and practice. College students are the pioneers of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in the future, and should step out of campus and fully practice in the front line. The teaching philosophy of the Business School of Shenzhen Technology University fully reflects the practicality of Applied Science, which is closely related to practical activities, and directly meets the needs of social employment.
In addition, Dr. Rashid from Pakistan (Postdoctoral Researcher from School of Big Data and Internet) believes that Shenzhen is a place that respects talents and is full of innovation vitality, and there are many excellent enterprises in Pingshan district, they very much hope to strengthen cooperation in the future, and hope to stay in Shenzhen for a long time. Dr. Saqib (Postdoctoral Researcher from School of Urban Transportation and Logistics) learned about the latest "3+1+1" industrial talent policy released by Pingshan District, and believed that Pingshan District is an innovative strong area in Shenzhen, which has introduced more than 100 innovation platforms and has major development opportunities, and is a hot land for realizing value for all kinds of talents.
In the second half of the event, all participants shared the wonderful moments of the World Cup and the self-brewed German beer culture of Shenzhen Technology University, and the atmosphere was lively. All participants have said that Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Talent Sub-district will be a "new popular place" for international talent exchanges in the future, and they are looking forward to more wonderful activities.
