On December 10, Prof. Ruan Shuangchen, president of SZTU, Prof. Holger Haldenwang, dean of Business School, and Prof. Franz Raps, dean of College of Urban Transportation and Logistics, Du Chenlin, head of Scientific Research and University-Enterprise Cooperation Department, Zeng Siyu, head of International Cooperation and Student Affairs Department, and Lu Liping, executive secretary of Business School, visited the headquarters building of BMZ China (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Yu Shu, general manager of BMZ China and Arnd Tuschinski, director of international marketing, Yu Yang, sales director and Jiang Zimeng, key account sales manager attended the event.

Both sides held a meeting on how to cultivate talents, including setting up a special “BMZ battery class”, establishing talent training program and conducting students’ practical courses, and then both sides signed the university-enterprise cooperation agreement.

Prof. Ruan briefly introduced SZTU’s establishment and philosophy, emphasizing that the university attaches great importance to the in-depth cooperation with enterprises and cultivates students’ practical abilities. It is hoped that both sides can strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the future, provide more training and internship opportunities for the students, and help enterprises solve practical problems and innovate boldly.

Arnd Tuschinski, director of international marketing director, BMZ China, introduced the development history, business scope, products and industries involved. Yu Shu, general manager of BMZ China, looking forward to the future cooperation between the two sides, hoped to strengthen cooperation with the university in building product certification and testing laboratories, building off-campus practice and training bases, and launching “BMZ battery class”.

Finally, Prof. Ruan and Yu Shu, general manager of BMZ signed a university-enterprise cooperation agreement and exchanged gifts.

After the meeting, the delegation of SZTU visited the office area, SMT workshop and product exhibition hall of BMZ China, and had a deeper understanding of the business, culture, development history and products of the company.
