China Hi-Tech Fair (CHIF) is the largest and the most influential scientific and technological fair recently in China and is renowned as “the No.1 Technology Show in China”. The 21st CHTF was held in shenzhen convention and exhibition center from November 13 to 17, 2019.
CHTF integrates transaction of achievements, exhibition of products, high-level forum, merchant attraction of projects and cooperation & exchange and focuses on the advanced technologies and products in such fields as energy conservation, environment protection, new generation of information technologies, biology, manufacture of high-end equipment, new energies, new materials and new energy vehicles etc. With the theme of “Invigorating the Greater Bay Area through Opening Up and Innovation”, this year’s CHIF has played a more important role in commercialization, industrialization and internationalization of high-tech achievements as well as promotion of economic and technological exchanges and cooperation between different countries and regions.
As a participant, Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU) has brought 45 achievements to CHIF this year. The showcased high-tech products developed by SZTU have attracted a large number of visitors to visit. That really enable the citizens to know about SZTU on a close level, which is obligated to cultivate talents with spirit of craftsman such as senior engineers and designers.
Business School also took advantage of the opportunity to promote our specialty by board and video which attracted great attention from visitors.30 students from business school were also able to broaden their horizons during this special off-campus practice. SZTU aims to establish itself as an open and innovative international university with Chinese characteristic and global outlook.

Nowadays, the enterprises are in urgent need of high-level applied talents who can not only conduct research, but also transform the achievements into applications." said Mrs. Cui, who used to work as an engineer in Huawei, after a visit to the various scientific and technological achievements of the SZTU Exhibition Area. “I hope SZTU can train more high-level applied engineers in the future!”.
