Dean of SZTU Business School and Peng Cheng Scholar has been with the University since 2017. He received his PhD from University of Regensburg, Germany and is a leading expert in Economics and International and Regional Trade. Dr. Holger Haldenwang is well experienced in the work of teaching and managing at post-secondary education. He has been taking a role of Economics professor since 1983 at Regensburg University of Applied Sciences (OTH Regensburg) and have over 35 years teaching experience as well as university-level top managerial experience at Regensburg University of Applied Sciences (OTH Regensburg), as briefly shown below:

-Executive Vice president (2009 – 2012)

Apart from academic contribution, Dr. Holger Haldenwang also has sophisticated work experience amongst enterprises, non-profit organizations and governments (Bavaria State Ministry of Environmental and Regional Development; Ministry of Economic Cooperation; German Corporation for Investment and Development; German-Italian Chamber of Commerce; several Chambers of Commerce and Industry) taking on the role of economics consultant, scientific manager, etc.
