On March 17, Business School Vice-Dean Professor Li Jie, Associate Professor Cheng Yun, Associate Professor Chen Hao, Associate Professor Zhang Yahui and Associate Professor Liu Gang visited Shenzhen Rihao Financial Consulting Group, located in Nanshan Science and Technology Park, to conduct in-depth discussions on school-enterprise cooperation, job requirements of fresh graduates, and the work performance of our intern students. Participants from Rihao Financial Consulting Group are including: Yang Guang (Chairman of the Group), Li Hua (Director of Group Audit Business Center), Wu Ting (Director of Group Consulting Business Center), Du Song (Director of Group Consulting Business Center), Xiong Yahui (Manager of Group Consulting Business Center), and Shao Lin (Group Human Resources Manager).
Firstly, Li Cheng, Group Recruitment Manager, reviewed cooperation achievements between Rihao Group and SZTU, such as the establishment of joint courses and the organization of corporate visits. At the same time, it also introduced the internship and training performance of 30 students from 2020 Cohort International Business major, Business School. Then, the heads of different departments made a specific introduction to the work performance of our intern students. In general, students are active in work and have strong learning ability. Some students can currently undertake projects independently, and the progress is very rapid. Students, such as Cai Xiaodan, Li Quanxiu, Ouyang Yun, Gao Fangfei, Wu Zhenling, Li Shuhang, Wan Lingxuan, Fang Chuliang, Huang Shiyi, Tang Mingzhang, Zhang Min, Tang Jiefeng, whose work performance is very outstanding and highly recognized by Rihao, who has also expressed the desire to retain these outstanding interns.
On behalf of Business School, Vice-Dean Li Jie expressed the gratitude to Rihao Group for its work in school-enterprise cooperation and internship opportunities. Vice-Dean Li Jie emphasized that our students go to enterprises for internship in the seventh semester, gain an in-depth understanding of enterprise operations, and use the knowledge they have learned to solve practical problems as one of the characteristics of our school. We hope to take this as an opportunity to expose students to business practices earlier and lay a solid foundation for future employment and study. Prof. Li Jie also asked about the problems exposed by the students during the internship at Rihao, and will combine these problems with classroom teaching to provide excellent talents for enterprises. BS professors and the heads of different departments of Riho discussed issues such as student internships, retention of excellent internships, future employment of graduates, and the development of joint courses, which pointed out the direction for the deepening cooperation between Business School and Rihao in the near future.
After the meeting with management of Rihao Group, BS teachers had a discussion with the representatives of interns. Students said that although the work pace is fast, they can learn new knowledge and feel that they have gained new things. Finally, the teachers provided a lot of suggestions for the difficulties encountered by the students in their work.
