On October 18, 2021, at the invitation of Man Wah Furniture Manufacturing (Huizhou) Co., Ltd., a delegation from Shenzhen Technology University visited Man Wah Group. The members of the delegation included: Professor Holger Haldenwang, Dean of Business School, Professor Liu Qingxia, Dean of Julong College (Innovation and Entrepreneurship College), Professor Zhang Wenwei, Dean of the Sino-German College of of Intelligent Manufacturing, Professor Han Peigang, Dean of the College of New Materials and New Energies, Professor Zhong Ling, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, International Exchange and Cooperation and Student Affairs Department Director, Associate Professor Zeng Siyu, Associate Professor Liang Lixin, Foreign Affairs Specialist of the College of Big Data and Internet, Busiess School Professor Gordana Kierans, Associate Professor Chen Qian, Associate Professor Cheah Cheewei, and Secretary Ms. Liang Minyi. This trip had cordial talks with Man Wah Group CEO Mr. Feng Guohua, Group Human Resources Director Ms. Liao Zhirong and Chief Investment Officer Mr. Lin Jianyi.

The first stop was the corporate culture room on the first floor of the Man Wah Group. Man Wah Holdings was established in 1992. Its main business involves R&D and sales of functional sofas, mattresses, panel furniture, and furniture accessories. It is a Top500 Chinese private enterprise in manufacturing industry. with its sales activities covering more than 100 countries. It has been selected as one of the Top 10 furniture company in the United States. It has made great achievements in the furniture field.

Afterwards, the delegation took three sightseeing vehicles to visit the Man Wah Industrial Park, including the production workshop, the product exhibition hall. During this process, professors from various fields have a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Man Wah's production process, employees' living environment and working environment.

Finally, Manager Huang of the Human Resources Department of Man Wah Group expressed the group's human resources needs to the delegation and welcomed the graduates of Shenzhen Technology University to join. This trip strengthened the mutual understanding between Man Wah Group and Shenzhen Technology University, which leads to the intention of school-enterprise cooperation.
