Dear students,
The holidays are over now and I hope you enjoyed them and recovered well. You can now tackle the new semester with fresh strength and energy and full of enthusiasm.
On behalf of SZTU Business School, I would like to welcome you back and wish you interesting seminars with exciting, insightful and profitable content for the new semester.
Please participate actively in class, do not shy away from questions, engage in discussions and thus contribute to a lively exchange of ideas.Don't forget to get involved outside of class and contribute to a thriving and cultural life on - and off - campus. At the same time, find a healthy balance between ambitious and persistent pursuit of new insights and coexistence in the community. You are usually more successful as part of a team.
It is important to note that you should also get at least some physical exercise on a regular basis. A healthy mind dwells in a healthy body - "Mens sana in corpore sano" - with this Latin saying, which refers to a sentence by the ancient Roman Juvenal, everything was said that you also need to know today as a mentally and physically fit person. Statistics show that mental illness has increased over the digital age, so it is even more important to keep yourself fit physically.
Dear students, I wish you a successful semester and ask you to contact your professors and/or the Dean's Office in case of any problems that may arise. We are here for you.
Stay healthy.
Best wishes,
Prof. Dr. Holger Haldenwang
